Nevatars Privacy Policy
The short version. Nevatars is a mixed reality film. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no purchases. The only data that ever leaves your headset is your voice, during the film's interactive conversation, which is sent to two AI service providers (Google and ElevenLabs) so the character can respond to you. Boona does not store those recordings. Everything else the headset senses (the room you see through the passthrough camera, and your eye, face, and hand tracking) stays on the device and is never collected or transmitted by us.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This privacy policy is published by Boona LLC ("Boona", "we", "us"), the publisher of the Nevatars app for Android XR (listed on Google Play as "NEVATARS", package name com.boona.nevatars, referred to below as the "App"). Nevatars is a 35-minute mixed reality film produced by The Imaginarium and Boona and developed by 3DAR.
This policy explains what the App does with data when you use it. It applies only to the App. Boona's websites (boonamedia.com, nevatars.com) and the Google Play Store itself are governed by their own terms.
2. What the App does with data
The App requests a small number of device permissions. Here is exactly what each one is used for.

You can withdraw any of these permissions at any time in your headset's system settings. If you deny the microphone, the interactive conversation will not be able to hear you; the rest of the film still works. If you deny the camera, passthrough will not be available.
3. Third-party services
To make the interactive conversation work, the App sends your voice audio to two service providers, which process it on our behalf to generate the character's responses:
- Google LLC — Gemini Live. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- ElevenLabs, Inc. ElevenLabs' handling of this data is described in the ElevenLabs Privacy Policy.
These providers process your voice audio in order to provide the conversation feature. Boona does not sell your voice data and does not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than running the conversation in the film.
4. What we do not collect
The App has:
- no user accounts, sign-in, or registration;
- no analytics or usage tracking;
- no advertising and no use of the advertising ID;
- no crash reporting or diagnostics sent to Boona;
- no location data;
- no in-app purchases;
- no data stored on Boona's servers.
Google Play may collect standard install and device information when you download or update the App; that collection is governed by Google's policies, not this one.
5. Data security
All data transmitted by the App (that is, your voice audio during the conversation) is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebSocket). No other data leaves the device.
6. Data retention
Boona does not retain any personal data from the App. Voice audio is processed in real time to generate the character's responses and is not stored by Boona. Retention by our service providers is governed by their own policies linked in section 3.
7. Children
Nevatars is designed for audiences aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the conversation feature, please contact us at the address below.
8. International users
The App is currently available in the United States. If you use the App elsewhere, be aware that voice audio is processed by service providers that may operate in the United States and other countries.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above. The current version is always available at this URL.
